WEDNESDAY EVENING LENTEN EVENT All held at Christ Lutheran – Feb. 29,
March 7, 14, 21, 28
We will join Prince of Peace Episcopal Church each Wednesday evening February 29
through March 28 for a midweek Lenten event from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The evening
schedule will be as follows:
6:00 p.m. -Soup and bread dinner in the social room
6:30-7:30 p.m. – Study entitled “God’s Beloved” -led by Brooks Schramm
7:45-8:00 p.m. - Compline in the Sanctuary

ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICES
6:30 a.m.-Donley Chapel - Brief Service of the Word
and Holy Communion with the imposition of ashes. (service will end by 7:00 a.m.
– geared for teachers and middle and high school students.
12:15-12:45
p.m.-Donley Chapel-Service of Holy Communion with imposition of ashes. (Parking
may not be available in the back lot between 11:50 and 12:05 due to the parents
picking up their children from preschool.)
7:00 p.m.-Nave-Service of the Word
and Holy Communion with the imposition of ashes.
CHRIST CHURCH ON THE RADIO…Christ Lutheran’s worship service airs on WGET
1320 AM radio at 7:00 a.m. every other Sunday and is the previous week’s
service. Dates of broadcasts: Feb. 19, March 4, 18
CELTIC WORSHIP SERVICES…… Celtic Worship Services will continue during
the summer twice a month on
the second and fourth Sunday at 6:00 p.m. Please join us!
Youth Events
CLUB 95 EVENT
(for kids in Grades 2-5 - PLUS kids in K-1st Grade are invited to this event!)
Veggie Tales “The Wonderful Wizard of Ha’s” Sunday, March 4th following 10:30
worship. Join us for a movie and snacks, and a chance to get together with your
Elementary Youth Group friends. Although the younger set (K & 1st Grade) does
not technically belong to Club 95, they are welcomed and invited to join us for
this fun event! All kids (K-5) are welcome!
MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP (grades 6-9) shepherded by Tara and
Chris Barnabei meets on the first Sunday of the month from 6:00-7:3O p.m.

AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM: Christ Lutheran’s afterschool program is up and
running with another year of activities, fun, learning, and service. The program
meets each Wednesday afternoon from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Students in Kindergarten
through 5th grade are welcome to participate. This year Seminarians Haley Vay
Poynter, Christin Fawcett, and Rachel Barton will serve on staff for the
program. Call the church office for more information.

FRIDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY…“Abraham and the Epistles” will run for four
weeks from Feb. 3 through Feb. 24 at 10:00am in the Hill Room. All are welcome!
